About Me

Hey there! I’m Angie.

If you’re seeking a path to reduce stress, laugh a little, and embrace responsive parenting techniques while nurturing connections with yourself and your family, you’re in the right place!

This blog is here to provide you with practical insights into the art of motherhood, combined with the transformative power of spirituality and somatic healing.

Within these virtual pages, you can expect to find guidance on how these elements can positively impact your life, both as a mother and as an individual.

Together, we’ll explore the beautiful intersection of parenting, spirituality, and personal growth.

If you’re as excited as I am about this journey, I encourage you to subscribe to my email list. By doing so, you’ll gain access to a Gratitude journal and mindset planner that can help kickstart your transformation.

Let me share a bit about myself and why I’m on this journey with you.

Like many of you, I’ve experienced the weight of stress and anxiety that can come with motherhood.

My journey has spanned from finding out I was pregnant during finals week my sophomore year of college, to welcoming my second child earth-side just days after my own mother had unexpectedly passed away, to the amazing, intense, and empowering home birth of my third child.

I’ve felt both lost and alone, while also experiencing the immense love that comes from having a new baby. I spent a long time closed off and hurting, questioning my past and myself because of it. But I knew there had to be a better way to live, not only for my children but for myself.

In 2018 I turned to personal development, seeking to heal my relationship with myself and those I love. I wanted to be the best version of myself, so that I could also be a present wife and mother.

I learned the importance of support from family, friends, and friends who’ve become like family. I turned inward for guidance and connected to my spirituality like never before.

I finally understand the importance of slowing down and being present for myself and my children. But this doesn’t mean my life is perfect or that stressful situations don’t happen!

My baby still imitates velcro, my toddler belongs in the Where the Wild Things Are book most days, and my teenager has plenty of attitude to spare… but instead of wishing the chaos would go away, I am leaning in and staying present to experience it all. When I slow down and prioritize closeness and happiness, so does my family.

I know how rough the life of a mom can be – whether you’re working and wishing you had more time with your child, or staying home with the kids and wishing for adult conversation. Motherhood seems to always be simultaneously hard and beautiful.

If I can make even one mom out there feel a little lighter, a bit happier and more connected to her family, or at ease with the flow of life, then every moment spent on this blog is worth it.

Along this journey, I’ve had the pleasure of making some of my dearest friends through masterminds and spiritual groups.

These connections have enriched my life, and I’m excited to share the experiences with you.

I’ve also been fortunate to attend beautiful luxurious retreats, where I’ve delved deep into self-discovery alongside other incredible women.

There’s a world of laughter, growth, and wisdom to explore, and I’m thrilled to have you as part of our community!

Don’t miss out on the chance to be the first to know when I publish a new post by joining my email list. Stay connected, keep growing, and together let’s make motherhood a more joyful and fulfilling adventure.
