As an expecting mother, it’s normal to feel anxious and stressed about the unknowns of pregnancy and childbirth.

Even with my third baby, I found myself worried about labor & birth. I like to be prepared for any situation and birth is such a wild card!

I found that practicing positive affirmations helped me reduce stress and anxiety and stay focused on the joy of bringing a new life into the world. By the time labor started, I was excited for the process and ready to bring my baby earth-side.

I wrote my favorite affirmations for pregnancy and birth on pretty card-stock and hung them in my room. My doula and midwives said them to me multiple times throughout my labor and it had such a grounding effect on me.
